
RACE NIGHT IS COMING TO FERNWOOD!
Join us for a night of fun and fundraising!
The FLC is hosting our first big fundraising event! Get together with family and friends and come along to help us raise money for our two fantastic local charities, St. Barnabas Hospice and Beaumond House Hospice Care. Tickets are on sale now, book early to secure your seats!​
In addition to betting on the night, why not become a horse owner? We have 64 runners up for grabs. Horses must be bought in advance so stake your claim now! It's just £5.00 to own and name your horse (all proceeds go to charity). Winners will receive a presitgious FLC Race Night trophy!
LET'S PLAY
Racing, raffle & roll!
Arrive from 7pm, racing will start at 7.30pm. Try your luck in our 8 horse races, all shown on the big screen. No odds - it's all down to chance. Cash prizes for the winning bets and a prestiguous FLC Race Night trophy for our winning horse owners! Betting is open to adults and children, minimum bet is £1.00. Cash only please.
Grab your raffle ticket sellers during the evening. It's just £1.00 per ticket (cash only). You won't want to miss out on our fantastic prizes!
Last but not least, take aim in our bottle roll for a chance to win a bottle of spirit. Use up your pound coins and ease the weight in your pocket. Nearest roll wins!
With craft activities for younger guests, there's something for everyone.

FOOD & DRINK
The fantastic Koala Kitchen will be on-site, offering a range of freshly prepared Asian street food delacies for you to purchase. Prices range from £5 - £15 per dish, and there are options to suit a range of dietary needs. Head over to their Facebook page to check out the menu. You can pre-order via Facebook to ensure your food is ready at your preferred time or order on the night.
Alternatively, you're welcome to bring a picnic to share with your party. Please note, the licensing rules mean you will not be able to bring your own alcoholic drinks into the venue.
The bar at Ferwood Village Hall will be open from 7 - 11pm.

RAFFLE
Be in it to win it!
No community event is complete without a raffle, but there are raffles and then there are raffles and this is one you're going to want win. Thanks to the huge generosity of our prize donors, we have some real treats to bestow on our winners. Raffle tickets are a steal at just £1 and all proceeds go straight to charity. OUR CHARITIES
Fernwood Ladies Choir is proud to host our inaugral race night in support of St. Barnabas Hospice and Beaumond House Hospice Care in Newark. Both charities are close to the hearts of our members, so we ask you to dig deep and help us raise much needed funds to support the incredibly valuable work they do to support families in our communities through the most challenging times. Money raised through our 2025 Race Night will be split equally between the charities.
How the fundraiser will work
